The creators of the film have moved the decision to the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal, and the decision is still pending.
Sunny Leone's latest film, Mastizaade, which was supposed to be released in May, has been further delayed.
The film was awaiting clearance from the censor board, but the revising commitee has found that film's content is unsuitable for Indian audiences and has refused to clear the film for release. The board has reportedly cited that the film contains too much sexual content.

The creators of the film have now decided to move the decision to the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal.
The Indian Express reports that a female member of the board had actually passed the film with an "A" certification, with a few cuts added in, but the rest of the board did not agree with the decision, and hence her vote was not considered. Express also reports that Pahlaj Nihalani, Chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification of India, had told the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting that the decision for the film was taken by Nandini Sardesai, a member of Revising Committee.
As of now, the decision is still pending.
